During the month of March we will be participating in our first Read-A-Thon! Since all students are already expected to be reading daily as part of regular homework, during the month of March, students will use the attached Read-A-Thon Minute Recording Sheet to record their minutes. Students are asked to set a challenging but attainable goal for the month, and read outside of school during the month of March. Throughout this month long celebration of reading, participating students are eligible for prizes. This Read-A-Thon is also a fundraiser to raise funds for field trips. Raising money is voluntary, and all students are encouraged to participate in the Read-A-Thon whether or not they collect donations.
